MY FIRST BATH

Although my cord had fallen off at Day 7, the doctor said I should not be getting a bath until the wound on my back had healed (I had a 2cm cut on my back from the c-section surgery).

So I didn't get to have my first real bath until I was 2 weeks old. I loved being in the water. The shampoo makes my hair smell good, and for some reason EVERYBODY loves to smell
babies' hair! What is up with that??!! |

I cannot believe mom is actually posting a naked picture of me on the internet!! Is this LEGAL???
The doctor said most babies don't like their first bath, and will probably cry through out the whole deal.

That was not the case with me at all. I was enjoying every moment of it. May be it is because Nai Nai is just a good bath giver and knows what she is doing! Mom was busy taking my pictures. I wonder if that's on her "Things To Do Before She Turns 40" list as well, taking pictures of someone taking a bath, that is. :) |
|
| At the end of my bath, Nai Nai would turn me over and rinse of my back and bottom. This is when I always attempt to stand up as if I might be able to get out of the tub myself. Every time I did that, Nai Nai
would ask mom to grab the camera - a 2 weeks old
trying to stand up by her self!! Sigh... when
are they going to realize that I am |

not a typical 2-week old baby? After all, I was born at week 41 at 9.5 pounds, and I learned how to hold my own head up at Day 1!! I am a big girl and I am very strong, so don't mess with me!! |
